President Trump Offers Condolences To Victims Of Las Vegas Mass Shooting

President Donald Trump has offered condolences to the victims and families of the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history, after a gunman opened fire at a concert in Las Vegas, killing at least 50 people and injuring over 400 others. “My warmest condolences and sympathies to the victims and families of the terrible Las Vegas shooting,” Trump tweeted.

His spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said the White House was monitoring the situation closely and offered full support to state and local officials to deal with the situation. At least 50 people were shot dead and another more than 400 injured when a gunman went on a shooting rampage during a music festival in the casino city of Las Vegas, making it the deadliest mass shooting in the United States.

The gunman was shooting from the 32nd floor of the hotel. He was shot dead later during an exchange of fire with the police. According to eye witness, they saw multiple victims as they fled the concert venue. “All I heard was a lot of bang, bang, bang, and everybody hit the ground, and everybody started running,” said Patrick Martin, a Southern California resident who was at the concert.
