President Buhari has revealed that if he had lost the tribunal petition and eventually the February 2019 elections to opposition Atiku Abubakar and the PDP, he would have been in trauma.
The 76-year-old retired major general of the Nigerian Army noted this when he received the All Progressives Congress state governors and the National Chairman of the party at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. President Buhari admitted that he was sore afraid while the Petition Tribunal delivered its judgment on Wednesday.

Adding that the judgement coincided with the maiden long federal executive council meeting, the President noted that it would have been traumatic if he had heard that he lost to Atiku. He further confessed that it took the grace of God and the distraction of the FEC meeting to keep his emotions in check.
