Police Kills Final Year Law Student In Enugu

An officer of the Nigerian Police force has reportedly killed a law student in his final year Augustine Ukwu in Enugu.
Augustine, the 27-year-old 500level student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State was said to have been arrested at a beer parlour at Odobido where he went with his friend on Thursday 23rd April.Police Kills Final Year Law Student Augustine Ukwu In Enugu
The officer reportedly beat and handed him over to the officer in charge of Anti-cult in Nsukka, Ferdinand Nnamdi Ochi, who allegedly murdered him without an identified reason or charge.

Augustine’s father, Andy Samuel Ugwu, who is a retired policeman, while speaking to newsmen noted that all his efforts to unravel the circumstances which led to the death of his son have been futile, likewise the efforts to retrieve his body.
