Former Anambra state governor Peter Obi has announced his intentions to run for the 2023 presidential elections. The politician shared that he will run if his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, zones its ticket to the Southern region of the country.
He revealed this while replying to Twitter folks who have been asking for his political plans and if he intends to run for the office of president. He further shared that it is an honour to serve in the field of his country and even if the PDP doesn’t zone it to the south Nigerians will still hear from him. Recall that Obi was the running mate of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 presidential election, but they lost to the Buhari-led administration.
