Nigerian women have taken to twitter to condemn the Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, for allegedly kneeling to beg the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, at a function over the weekend.
Tallen and Gbajabiamila were invited as speakers at the WIMBIZ Women in Politics Dialogue which held at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja on Saturday, October 12th.
During the event, Tallen reportedly went on her knees to beg Hon. Gbajabiamila to ensure more female representation in political office appointments
Media personality, Kadaria Ahmed who was a moderator at the event, confirmed that indeed the Honorable Minister knelt to plead with the Speaker.
