Most likely with sadness in their hearts, parents of the abducted Bethel Baptist school students have acted out their grievances in a protest, blocking the Kaduna-Kachia expressway.
Gunmen have, in their usual manner, stormed the school located in Kaduna State on Monday morning, carting away with scores of students. Giving an update, KOKO TV reported that 17 of the students have returned but about 100 are still missing.

As the police claim it has rescued 27 of the abducted students and one teacher have been rescued and efforts are being made to rescue the remaining students still in captivity, images of the protesting parents surfaced. Reports have it that the protest took place today, Monday, the same day the kids were abducted.

The distraught parents were seen holding leaf branches, sitting on the road while some of them stood as they called on the state government to expedite action in rescuing their children from the kidnappers den.
