More than 1,000,000 people have Covid in England right now.
More than 2% of England’s population now have coronavirus, Boris Johnson has said today.

Speaking during tonight’s press conference, the PM cited data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) which said that more than one million people had the virus in England.
It comes as more than 60,000 cases were recorded in the UK for the first time today.
