Opinion: Guys Do You Think ”Vogue Africa” Will Work?

 Supermodel Naomi Campbell sparked a global online debate following her speech at Arise Fashion Week a couple of weeks ago. According to to Campbell, there is a need for Vogue Africa. In an interview with Reuters, Campbell said “We just had Vogue Arabia – it is the next progression… Africa has never had the opportunity to be out there and their fabrics and their materials and their designs be accepted on the global platform… it shouldn’t be that way.”  The highly respected magazine, started as a weekly newspaper back in 1892 before the management began to publish monthly, years later. The magazine’s first international edition, British Vogue, was launched in 1916 and they have since expanded, creating 23 more international editions, to include; Vogue China, Arabia and India.
