Thomas Lane: Police Charged Over George Floyd’s Death Freed After Crowdfunding Secures Bail

One of the four officers involved in George Floyd’s death Thomas Lane, has been released from jail after posting bond.
The 37 year old ex-Minneapolis officer was charged with aiding and abetting 2nd degree manslaughter and had been held on $750,000 conditional bail.One Of The Police Who Killed George Floyd Released From Jail
He has, however, reportedly been freed from the Hennepin County jail on Wednesday by 5:08 p.m, according to jail records. His family members had set up a $1 million fundraising page for him, asking the public for donations for his defense.

Now we can watch what happens next from outside. We will bring a motion to dismiss and hopefully it will be granted“, his lawyer, Earl Gray told Tribune, confirming the release.
