The sacked commissioners are from the ministries of physical planning and urban development, works and infrastructures and culture – Akeredolu, however, nominated another 5 persons for the position of commissioners Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state on Tuesday, June 18, sacked three of his commissioners. TVC reports that Akeredolu in a statement by his chief press secretary, Segun Ajiboye, sacked commissioners are Solagbade Amodeni of the ministry of physical planning and urban development, Taofiq Abdusalam of the ministry of works and infrastructures and Ismaila Olurimisi of the ministry of culture. There are reports that they have been directed to handover government property in their possession to permanent secretaries in their ministries.

The governor thanked those affected for their service to the good people of the state. He has therefore nominated Yetunde Adeyanju, Titilayo Adeyemi, Temitayo Oluwatuyi, Fatai Olotu, and Akindotun Olubunmi Owanikin for the position of commissioners. The names of the nominees would be forwarded to the state House of Assembly for confirmation. Akeredolu has also appointed two new special advisers. They are Babatunde Kolawole and Oyebo Aladetan.
