Olubadan: Ibadan Markets To Be Shut For Burial Rites – Babaloja General of Oyo State

The Babaloja General of Oyo state, Alhaji Yekeen Abass has commiserated with the State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Olubadan in Council, sons, and daughters of Ibadanland over the demise of Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun Alli Okunmade II.

In a message signed on behalf of market leaders, and traders in the state, Alhaji Abass noted that the reign of the imperial majesty was peaceful with economic development in the ancient city.

Alhaji Abass stated that the market at Bus stop gate, Oje, Oja Oba, Bere, Molete, Bode markets will be closed for business activities for the burial rites of the imperial Majesty who joined his ancestors.

He urged traders and market leaders in the affected markets to give honour to the Royal father and make it a point that no one flouts the directive.
