 A new report from Showbiz 411, reveal that the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin is currently ‘gravely ill’ and surrounded by her family in Detroit. Her friends and family are reportedly fervently praying for her and asking that everyone else does as well as give her some privacy during this period. 
The 76 year old was diagnosed with cancer back in 2010. She last performed on November 2, 2017, for the Elton John AID Foundation in New York which was held at the Philadelphia’s Mann Center last August. Franklin has had to struggle with weight issues, alcoholism and was a chain smoker almost all her life. Our prayers are with her. Photo Credit: Getty
