Nigerian Photographer, Femi Alabede Presents ‘Tropical Dreams’

Lagos based artist and photographer Femi Alabede aka Alfe presents the ‘Tropical Dreams’, a collection of creative shots. The talented alumnus of Covenant University is inspired by the works of Kelechi Amadi-Obi, Mario Testino and Leonardo Da Vinci.According to him “Tropical dreams are my delicate attempt of interpreting my enthrallment with a beautiful Japanese culture. It all started with a bunch of bamboos lying idly at a construction site, its tropical feel reminded me of my fascination with Japan. So with a fabulous tailor, gracious model, terrific makeup artist and my precious bamboo, I brought life to my dream through the lens of my camera. The bamboo is very symbolic in Japan, it represents not only prosperity but purity and innocence, the kimono is representative of the culture and heritage and worn at important occasions. It was an amazing experience starting this new series and I invite you to join me on this wonderful journey”
