How Nigerian Comedian, Calibird, Died After A Brief Illness

Nigerian comedian and social media content creator, Caleb Itietie better known as Calibird, has passed on.

It was gathered that he died at the Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos state today March 27, after a brief illness. His colleagues have taken to social media to express shock at his passing. Comedian, Efewarriboy while reacting news of Calibird’s demise, wrote;

”Jeeeeeeesus I don’t understand this one ooooo. RIP MY BRO CALLI”

Comedian, Edopikin on his part, wrote;

”Hmmmm, so na so this life just reach ??? I have never used this here before, but CALLIBIRD why bro why. Rest on bro, Rest on my colleague, Rest on my friend, rest on my brother”


His death is coming just a few weeks after the death of music producer, Dokta Frabs who famously worked with several celebrities. A couple of weeks ago, the demise of popular music producer, Dokta Frabz was announced.

The announcement was made on Sunday, February 28, Samklef via the microblogging site, Twitter. He wrote;

“One of Nigeria legendary producer just died. Sad day for me. Rip legend! Ayo ( dr Frabz) We spoke 2 weeks ago u asked how is Houston treating me?  I came to Maryland yesterday, only for me to hear that u are no more today. What a sad day! A brother is gone! Another producer is gone! RIP!”

Dokta Frabz, real name Ayorinde Faboro, gained mainstream popularity in the early 2010s when he worked with artistes; such as Banky W, Da Grin, Wizkid, Omawunmi, amongst several others.
