VFiles, based in New York’s Soho and founded by Australian native and former V Magazine exec editor, Julie Anne Quay, kicked off their fashion week festivities with a new collection at Brooklyn’s Barclays Centre. The event featured visuals by artist Hidji and music by A-Trak.
In addition to Cupo, it also provided a showcase for other up-and-coming designers like Elena Velez, MARRKNULL, Shuting Qiu, and Windowsen. The show was closed by a special appearance by rapper Lil Kim. The rapper, 44, took to the stage in a low-cut bustier under a short coat dress to introduce the new VFILES Yellow Label Line by designer Paul Cupo.
