In a rare display of amazing excellence, a 12 years old girl, Dorothy Jean Tillman has received her second degree from Excelsior College in Chicago where she studied Environmental Engineering.
The girl who was nicknamed ‘Dorothy Genius” by her mother, Jemelita Tillman, had previously held an associates degree. She plans to continue her pursuit of leveling up to a masters degree in environmental engineering but first wants to take some time away from the classroom before she attains another diploma.
Dorothy reassured spectators that she was not all about books only and still manages to sketch in time for leisure activities. In her words, “Environmental engineering is all about helping people, the environment and that is just what I love to do, that is what makes me happy”.
