Lauretta Onochie, President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on social media, has said the new COVID-19 restrictions announced by the federal government, especially the one relating to religious gatherings, is not an attempt to deny churches of offerings and tithes.
The media aide in a lengthy Twitter thread shared that COVID-19 is a matter of life and death and should be treated as such. The presidential aide added that the government took the decision to save lives and not to deny Nigerians the opportunity to celebrate Christmas with their families and loved ones.
