Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has joined the rest of the world as it celebrates playwright, poet and novelist, Wole Soyinka as he marks his 86th birthday.
Taking to his Twitter page, where he described the Nobel laureate as a true son of the country, he noted that Soyinka had always been interested in the growth of Nigeria.
He further wished him many more years to celebrate and enjoy.

“In 1986, Professor Wole Soyinka won the Nobel Prize for Literature. Today, this great son of Nigeria and Africa celebrates his 86th birthday. His life commitment is to see a prosperous Nigeria that works for all. I wish Professor Soyinka many happy returns.”
