Nigeria’s Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed has also paid a condolence visit to the bereaved family of the former Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru.
The first lady of the Giant of Africa, Aisha Buhari and children had visited the family earlier. Vice President Osinbajo’s wife, Dolapo aslo paid a visit to the COAS’ widow.
Making her visit today, the Minister of Finance went alongside other female members of the Federal Executive Council.
The Minister had earlier expressed sadness over the death of Lt. General Ibrahim Attahiru, the former Chief of Army Staff, and 10 other top military officers in the military plane crash in Kaduna State.

“I commiserate with President @MBuhari, Chief @DefenceInfoNG, Minister of Defence & family members of the deceased on the sudden death of our heroes. I am sad & sober by this unfortunate event. I sympathize with the military and the families. May Allah grant them forgiveness“, she tweeted.
