Teachers in Oyo state have resumed back to work despite the growing numbers of coronavirus in the state. The state government ordered teachers to resume back to work this week in preparation for the students who will join later in the week.
The teachers said it is difficult to resume work amidst the pandemic but they are ready to put in all necessary safety measures to ensure that the students are duly protected. She said an appeal has been put out to the PTA, the state government and other well meaning people to support the schools in providing all safety kits needed by the teachers. The teachers also appealed to parents to educate their wards on the coronavirus and the ways they can stay protected against the virus as they return to school.
