A league of Nigerian senators made a surprise appearance at the court today as they showed their resilient support for popular Kogi West senator, Dino Melaye, who is currently facing trial for falsely accusing the Chief of staff to the Kogi state government of attempting to assassinate him.
A handful of youths also stormed the court quarters to suport the embattled governor. Dino Melaye pleaded not guilty after he was charged to court on a two-count charge of giving false information against the Chief of Staff to the Kogi State Government, Edward David. Popular common sense activist, Ben Murray Bruce, was one of the senators that came to support Dino Melaye.
