The elements of design for the collection is rooted in African culture, the flamboyant lifestyle of our women as well as the portrayal of elegance in women.
Mmakamba, which means “Big Woman” in Efik, has pieces such as hand beaded fringes, leather fringes, sheer detailing, pastel and earth tones on asymmetric hemlines, and locally dyed adire chiffon fabrics designed for the ease and comfort for the everyday woman.
