Finally, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has fixed a new reopening date for worship centres in the State, 7th and 9th August.
The Governor revealed this during a briefing on COVID-19 at the State House in Marina.
According to him, mosques will be reopened Friday 7th August while churches will follow suit on Sunday, August 9.
He, however, reminded religious leaders on the need to make available hand sanitisers and thermometer guns at the places of worship for the members. Read also: Ogun State Set To Reopen Worship Centres August 14
He added then that the state government will ensure that social distancing is maintained as security agencies will be dispatched to worship centres to ensure compliance.
