Lagos State Government has announced that she will be closing down Costain Bridge beginning today 3rd October for three months for construction purposes.
As reported by the Nation, this was announced in a statement issued by the State Government which disclosed that the closure is to facilitate the completion of the ongoing construction of the bridge. The affected areas are the Costain Roundabout inwards Funso Williams Avenue.
The government then gives directions to travelers, commuters and mortorist on the routes they are expected to ply. Part of the statement reads, “Those heading to Lagos Island from Orile can use Iganmu Road to connect Eko Bridge through Costain. Those going to Costain Roundabout, Alaka or Ebute Meta can take Apapa Road to Abule Nla Road to connect Funso Williams Avenue by Leadway Assurance building to continue their journey”
