The reality TV star and Makeup Mogul, Kylie Jenner has revealed that she had a lot of help while on her way to being a self-made billionaire. Earlier this month, Forbes published a story of America’s Women Billionaires and made Kylie it’s cover woman as the youngest self-made billionaire at 21, she replaced Mark Zuckerberg who held the title before. This generated a lot of criticism as many pointed out that she grew up in a wealthy home.
Kylie has, however, come out to say she had a lot of help from her family and friends, most especially her mother Kris Jenner. She shared this with the New York Times newspaper: ‘I can’t say I’ve done it by myself. If they’re just talking finances, technically, yes, I don’t have any inherited money. But I have had a lot of help and a huge platform.’ She added: ‘I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future. But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back … It’s the power of social media. I had such a strong reach before I was able to start anything.
