Pastor Sam Adeyemi has reacted to the abduction of the at least 27 students and teachers of the Government Science Secondary School Kagara, Niger State, asking that people start to treating others with empathy and dignity.
Some gunmen wearing military fatigues were said to have stormed the state-owned school at around 2am on Wednesday 17th February, carting away with the students and some of their teachers.Taking to Twitter to react, Pastor and Leadership Coach Sam Adeyemi stated the pictures of the abduction brought tears to his eyes and the act can only be perpetrated by a collectively wicked people. “Pictures of the Government Science College Kagara where students were kidnapped brought tears to my eyes. Many schools are like that in Nigeria. Only a people collectively wicked would treat youths this way. We must treat humans, created in God’s image, with empathy and dignity”, he tweeted.
