Kagara Abduction: Governor To Brief Press On Release

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State is set to brief the Press on the rumoured release of the abducted Kagara students and their teachers.
This is coming after rumours and reports fill the air on Thursday night that the abducted students and members of staff of the Government Secondary Scholl, Kagara in Rafi LGA have been set free.
Channels TV reported that it then reached out to the Spokesperson to the Governor, Ms Mary Noel-Berje who confirmed that the Governor would be briefing journalists on the rumours today.

Meanwhile, former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani has urged Governor Sani Bello to engage in negotiation with the kidnappers so as to ensure the return of the abductees. Negotiation seems to be the order of he day as the bandit who perpetrated the Kankara Boys’ abduction in December also revealed that he had led the operation simply because the State Governor refused to dialogue with his group.
