Suspected gunmen have kidnapped the younger sister of the wife of Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, in Asaba.
Okowa’s Sister-in-law named Elizabeth was reportedly kidnapped on Monday night at Temple Clinic junction, along Awai road near Government House in Asaba. She is said to be the immediate younger sister of Okowa’s wife, Dame Edith.
It was gathered that Elizabeth was driving around the metropolis in a black Jeep when she was abducted.
The incident is said to have thrown Okowa, his wife and her entire family into trauma, leading to the low key celebration of the state’s 28th anniversary.
