Jude Law and Carrie Coon are set to star in director Sean Durkin’s new family psychodrama, “The Nest.”

The shooting of “The Nest,” which is Durkin’s first film since 2011’s critically acclaimed drama “Martha Marcy May Marlene,” will begin in September in Canada and Britain.

Law is expected to play the role of Rory, an ambitious entrepreneur who brings his American wife and kids to his native country, England, to explore new business opportunities.

After abandoning the sanctuary of their safe American suburban surroundings, the family is plunged into the despair of an archaic ’80s Britain and their unaffordable new life in an English manor house threatens to destroy the family. Jude Law also has the spy thriller “The Rhythm Section,” bowing next year and recently wrapped production on “Vox Lux.” “Fargo” and “The Leftovers” actress Carrie Coon is the latest name added to the official cast of Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War.”
