Manchester City has announced that Juanma Lillo has joined the club as assistant coach to Pep Guardiola.
The new No. 2 will replace Mikel Arteta who left in December 2019 to become coach at Arsenal.
Expressing his delight at joining the club, the new No. 2 said “I am delighted to have joined Manchester City’s coaching staff.
“My relationship with Pep goes back many years and I am thrilled to be joining him as part of this exciting team.

“It’s a pleasure to become a part of this group and I hope to make an important contribution to the club’s success going forwards,” Juanma Lillo said.
The 54-year-old Spaniard joins the EPL side from Chinese club, Qingdao Huanghai.
