Jagaban! Tinubu Wins As Oyegun Withdraws From APC Chairmanship Race

The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, has officially announced his withdrawal from contesting for another tenure in the forthcoming APC general elections.
Speaking in a press conference at his Abuja residence, the APC chieftain stated that his decision was in the best interest of the party.
He said: “Even though I had the desire to re-contest as National Chairman of the Party, I have decided that it is ultimately in the best interest of the Party for me to withdraw from the race”.
The APC leadership seemed destined to hit the rocks after Chief Oyegun’s viral fallout with the party’s national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Tinubu will have to contest against the likes of Adams Oshiomole in the forthcoming party elections.
