His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ogunwusi Enitan Adeyeye, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, brought a new view to the creation story of all humans over the weekend, as he revealed that Adam and Eve – the biblical first man and woman on earth – were created in Osun state.
In an interview with GoldMyneTV, the revered Western monarch claimed that Churches were first institutionalized in Africa. He further revealed that the foreigners tried to steal the legacies of the black man by making him believe everything came from them.
Oba Adeyeye revealed that the Yorubas were the first descendants of ‘Olodumare’.(God) who created man in his image. He also disclosed that the first set of humans, Adam and Eve were black and created in the garden of ‘Edena’ known as the garden of Eden.
He said: “Edena is right here in Ile Ife and I will reveal everything to you when the time comes. We have allowed the white man steal our legacy. There is power in our land because we were created first by Olodumare. The Church started here and not from the whites”.
