Two siblings, Chiamaka and Emeka Ifezue have been arraigned before an Enugu Magistrate Court over the alleged murder of a make-up artist, Ijeoma Nweke.
The siblings were charged with the premeditated murder of Ijeoma.
During the court hearing, it was revealed that Chiamaka and her brother allegedly killed Ijeoma for having an affair with her (Chiamaka’s) boyfriend. Further, Chiamaka was said to have lured Ijeoma by inviting her for a make-up job.
Suspecting foul play on her way, Ijeoma had quickly sent an SOS message to a friend; before being allegedly forced to drink a poisoned substance by the culprits.
The court heard that the siblings went on to pour a substance said to be acid on Ijeoma.
An eye-witness who was present in the court reveled that he witnessed as Emeka Ifezue poured acid on the body of Ijeoma after they dumped her corpse at Maryland axis of Enugu Metropolis.
Also present in court was the purported boyfriend who was willing to testify against the two siblings.

The case was adjoined to February 24th, 2021 for continuation of trial.
There was a mild drama at the end of proceedings as the mother of the deceased rained curses on the accused siblings as they made to board a vehicle that was conveying them back to prison custody.
The disappearance of the deceased make-up artist; whose lifeless body was discovered in Enugu on Sunday, November 15.
Ijeoma was said to have been found dead after four days of being missing. She was last seen on Wednesday, 11th November 2020 in Enugu.
Information gathered showed that the deceased was booked for a make-up business in an undisclosed location. A friend of the deceases disclosed that she had demanded the address for the occasion. However, the customer asked her to come to ESBS bus stop, a popular bus stop in Enugu; from where she will be conveyed to the location.
