The vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo has reaffirmed his loyalty to President Buhari.
Speaking at a forum of Greater Nigeria Pastors’ Conference in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Friday, Prof. Osinbajo reinstated that he will never back-stab President Buhari.
He said: “I have made sure that it would not be said of me that I have stabbed the President in the back. We must never be afraid speaking truthfully and forcefully on issues… there is no time that I did not represent the views of Nigerians, even if it is contrary to President’s view.”
Osinbajo’s stance in Buhari’s government came under threat few weeks ago, when a team of Nigerian female lawmakers demanded that Buhari should replace Osinbajo as his running mate, with a woman.
