Popular Nigerian singer, Abbey Toheeb Elias, popularly known as Skiibii recently took to his official Twitter page to reveal a personal experience he had in a dream.
According to the artist, he saw legendary Nigerian musician Fela Anikulapo Kuti in his dream, and the two had a long conversation that made sense to him.

Fela Kuti, often called the king of Afrobeat, was a Nigerian musician and activist who became well-known worldwide for his music and his social and political commentary.
He used his music to protest against corruption, inequality, and oppression in Nigerian society. Fela Kuti died in 1997, but his music continues to inspire generations of musicians in Nigeria and around the world.
Skiibii Mayana is a Nigerian musician who has also been inspired by Fela Kuti’s music and style. In his latest song, “Back to sender,” the ‘Sensima’ crooner pays homage to Fela by recreating his style and dressing in old-school attire. Skiibii’s tribute to Fela shows how deeply the musician has influenced Nigerian music and culture.
