Political activist Reno Omokri has shared his thoughts on the ongoing conversation around feminism and marriage and has agreed with the General Overseer of Living Faith Church Bishop Oyedepo who said that a wife is subject to her husband. The activist stated that feminism cannot coexist with Christ.
He noted that a lot of women either choose to follow Christ or feminism but cant choose both because a person cannot serve two masters. Reno further shared that as Christ-followers, their guide is not prevailing social mores, which change with the times and the only guide is Scripture. Recall that Bishop Oyedepo had shared that any woman who wanted to be a feminist had no business considering marriage because she would not be able to keep a home.
