Another thing is meeting a friend or someone and they ask, HEY!!! what’s your hair type?? how many times have you been asked this, or wondered it for yourself? Let’s be honest, we’ve all wondered if there’s a type of hair asides the curly, straight, natural hair, and we have also wondered if truly its the type of our hair that does not make the product work well or even damage our hair the more. some of us may have heard of it and obsessed at least a little bit about our hair type to be informed and to be able to answer questions about our hair correctly.
Well, there are three different types of hair porosity, which is the high, normal, and low porosity. Many of us ladies have thought maybe it’s somewhere in-between! But as it is one of the most visible characteristics of our hair, it is very important to know what type of porosity your hair falls on. That is the pros and cons, solutions and many more.Hair
Just for those that have no idea what Porosity is, hair porosity is a measurement of your hair’s ability to absorb and hold moisture. You can also think of it as indicating how easily moisture can penetrate your hair. high porosity hair has gaps and holes in the cuticle, allowing moisture to easily pass in and out. Low porosity hair has a tightly bound cuticle layer, making it difficult for moisture to penetrate, and normal porosity hair has a looser cuticle layer, allowing for a steady but moderate flow of moisture in and out of your hair.
Just to not bore you off or get you tired of reading, I’ll post another article tomorrow on hair porosity giving you all the details about your hair that you need to know. it is going to be like a practical article and at the end, you will find out what type your hair is. let me have a feedback on what you think and let’s discuss on it.

Remember, there are no “good” or “bad” hair products- it’s all about knowing how to care for the hair that you have. Two people with the same curl patterns may have different porosity, and therefore need to use very different products.
