The Recording Academy Music Awards have credited three Nigerian musical superstars with nominations at the prestigious Grammys Awards for 2021. Burna Boy and two other stars were nominated which are Wizkid and Tiwa Savage for the works on “Brown Skin Girl” and Everything Life by Coldplay respectively. 
The African Giant Burna Boy was nominated in the Best Global music Album for his work on “Twice As Tall”, he shares the nomination group with Fu Chronicles – Antibalas, Agora – Bebel Gilberto, Love Letters – Anoushka Shankar and finally with Amadjar – Tinariwen. This would be Burna’s second nomination in a row.
While Wizkid was nominated in the Best Music Video category – for his feature on Beyonce’s “Brown Skin Girl”, and Tiwa Savage was nominated for her works with Coldplay in the category for Best Album of the Year, “Everything Life”.
But the other name we that wasn’t found on the list was the OBO’s name, the DMW boss seems to have missed out on it this time, even though his #ABT is garnering so many streams.
