Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo has announced the implementation of the remote application of citizen’s passport which enables them file for a new or renewal of their passports from the comfort of their homes.
Nana Akufo said this in a tweet he shared via his official Twitter, noting that this was made possible and implemented by the ruling New Patriotic Party.
The online passport application, implemented by the NPP Government, has made it possible for Ghanaians to apply for or renew their passports from the comfort of their homes. #MakingGhanaEfficient #4MoreForNana”, he tweeted.

Nana Akufo, has however, been greeted by a lot of backlash, as hsi citizens claimed under his tweet that the implementation was not made under his administration neither through the ruling NPP as he claimed.
