FIFA Invite Boys Trapped In Thai Cave To World Cup Final!

Children trapped in Thai Cave have been invited to the World Cup final.

FIFA are offering the boys trapped inside a cave in Thailand and their coach the chance to visit Russia for this summer’s final if circumstances allow it, in a letter signed by FIFA president Gianni Infantino, and was sent to Somyot Poompanmoung, president of the Thailand Football Federation.

The 2018 World Cup final will hold on July 15 at the 78,011 capacity Luzhniki stadium in Moscow, Russia. “We hope that, in some way, out words of support may help bring them a little peace and courage in these difficult moments of uncertainty and concern,” the letter by FIFA reads.

Local emergency services are still trying to rescue the 12 boys and their football coach, who have been trapped in a flooded cave in Thailand for nearly two weeks. A former Thai navy diver, Saman Gunan reportedly died while taking part in efforts to rescue the team. Gunan lost consciousness on his way out of the Tham Luang cave complex, where he had been delivering air tanks.
