The Federal Government has set aside 600 billion Nigerian naira as grant and aid for farmers across the nation.
This was made known by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Sabo Nanono while he flagged off an event in Kano State.
Confirmed further in a tweet shared by the President’s New Media aide Bashir Ahmad, the fund will allow about 2.4 million targeted farm owners across the country to agricultural financing.

“The Federal Government earmarks N600bn to enhance farmers access to agricultural financing in the country. The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Sabo Nanono says about 2.4 million farmers across the country are targeted to benefit from the interest free facility“, Bashir Ahamd wrote.
