FBI Fraud Raid: Do Not Judge Igbo Race By The Actions Of 80 Criminals – Femi Fani-Kayode

Former Nigerian minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode says since the Fulani race can not be judged by the “genocidal and barbaric actions of the Fulani terrorists”, then it would be wrong to judge the Igbo race based on the criminal behaviour of 80 Igbos.

The former minister was reacting to the indictment of almost 77 Nigerians, mainly Igbos, in what the FBIdescribed as the largest fraud in the history of the United States.

Federal agents hold a detainee, second from left, at a downtown Los Angeles parking lot after predawn raids that saw dozens of people arrested in the L.A. area Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019. U.S. authorities have unsealed a 252-count federal grand jury indictment charging 80 people with participating in a conspiracy to steal millions of dollars through a range of fraud schemes and laundering the funds through a Los Angeles-based network. The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Thursday most of the defendants are Nigerian nationals.

In a tweet on Saturday, Fani- Kayode said “If you insist that we cannot judge the Fulani race based on the genocidal and barbaric actions of the Fulani terrorists and the destructive narrative of the Fulani supremacists then you dare not judge the Igbo race based on the criminal behaviour of 80 Igbos in a foreign land.”Photo Credit: Getty
