– Daughter Says Elzakzaky Was Poisoned With Lead And Might Die Soon
The Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Ibrahim Elzakzaky and his wife, Zeenat, are reportedly on their way back to Nigeria, in less than 4 days they landed in India for medical treatment.
This was revealed by a top member of the Shi’ites group, Yahaya Muhammad Soje in a statement released today. According to Soje, the couple who had been detained in Nigerian cell since 2015 are coming back to Nigeria due to the poor condition of the hospital they were taken to by the Nigerian High Commission in India.
Due to the allegations of Elzakzaky’s ill-treatment in India, India’s Minister of Minority Affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, had paid a visit to Medanta Hospital where he was treated, in order to ensure El-Zakzaky had the best of medical care the country can provide.
Amidst the travel stories however, Elzakzaky’s daughter Suhaila has expressed her worry for her father, whom she said has been poisoned with lead and could die at any moment.

“I am really worried especially because of the lead and cadmium poisoning. His doctors say if he gets to a certain level his organs could start failing and that’s really scary because that means he could just die at any moment“, she told BBC news.
