Election: Two Reportedly Killed In Abia

Two people have reportedly been killed in Ndi Agwu community in Abam, Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State.

It was reported that the casualties occurred during the presidential and National Assembly polls holding in today.

Reports have it that one of the victims, identified as Samuel Arunsi Eze was said to have been beheaded by a political thug known as Daniel Mgba.

According to an eye witness report, one of those involved in the killing has also been killed.

Meanwhile, the presidential candidate of the NNPP, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has lamented on the late registration witnessed in every part of the country.

Addressing reporters after voting, Kwankwaso said accreditation and voting didn’t start in the polling unit till 11 am as against 08:30am. He, therefore, appealed to the Independent National Electoral Commission to be a “little bit patient” for his supporters to vote.
