Ekiti Elections : Kayode Fayemi OF APC Wins Gubernatorial Election

 Following the election that took place in Ekiti state yesterday, Kayode Fayemi of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared the winner. Fayemi won other candidates in 12 out of the 16 local government areas of the state. Kolapo Olusola, the incumbent deputy governor and governor Ayo Fayose’s candidate won the remaining 4 local government areas. INEC declared the results of all LGAs and is currently collating the results. Fayemi, who formerly ruled the state lost to Fayose in 2014.
