Unbelievable! Music Star Ed Sheeran Actually Failed Music While In College

British music star, Ed Sheeran who sold over 150 million records worldwide has been revealed to have actually failed music while in college. This in accordance with the letter sent to the 28-year-old star in 2010 confirmed he had received six F grades in all segments, including songcraft, of his higher diploma in Contemporary Music Performance course at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey. This letter has now been displayed at a new exhibition Ed Sheeran Made In Suffolk, at Christchurch Mansion in Ipswich. It is pertinent to point out that Ed attended the college in 2010 but quit afterwards to concentrate on his music career and this led to his failure.

Although Ed failed, there was a 2004 school report in the exhibition which described him as a “natural performer”. It reads: “Obviously at the moment his voice is beginning to change although he still has quite a lot in his higher register.” The exhibition was curated by Ed’s father, John who said that his son had become “disillusioned” with the music course just three weeks in. He added that Ed was refused the opportunity to go on a tour with now Starz in the Eyes hitmaker, Just Jack.
