A Dubai Health, Safety, Environment and Quality recruiting company Shirley Parsons has denied being associated to the job advert which exempted Nigerians from applying.
Recall that Shirley Recruitments Consultants have put out a job vacancy for Merchandise in Dubai, stating clearly that African nationales both male and female can apply, except Nigerians.
Many Nigerians have reacted out of rage and one of them, a Nigerian writer and poet, tagged the HSEQ company in the post. “This has to be the most ignorant recruitment ad ever put out. In this day and age, how is a country defined with such uneducated and uninformed mindset? #ShirleyRecruitmentsConsultants Need to wake up @ShirleyParsons @indeed @farooqkperogi @RealSolaKuti @JobLinks_SA @abikedabiri“, @Solodee tweeted.

Dissociating itself and clearing its name, Shirley Parsons replied in a tweet that the job advertisement and the company Shirley Recruitments Consultants is in no way associated to it. “Hi @Solodee we’d just like to confirm that this job ad and “Shirley Recruitment Consultants” is in no way associated with Shirley Parsons“, the tweet reads.
