The US president Donald Trump has revealed that he will not be attending the inauguration ceremony of Joe Biden on the 20th of January,2020. The president made the declaration today via his official Twitter handle.
The president has not handled his defeat quite well since the November, 2020 election results were announced and this is not a surprise to a lot of people. A few days ago he was accused to have incited violence through his speech which made his supporters invade the US capitol building. He will be the first incumbent president since Andrew Johnson to skip his successors inauguration.

In another tweet he appreciated the 75million American’s who voted for him and assured them that they will be treated fairly by the government and will not receive any form of disrespect.
