Donald Trump Attacks His Attorney General Jeff Sessions Just Months After Appointing Him

US controversial man-in-charge Donald Trump seems to be at loggerheads with another member of his trusted inner circle after publicly admonishing Attorney General Jeff Seeions and calling him out as “being too weak”. Barely a week after his press secretary Sean Spicer abruptly quit due to his disagreement with Trump’s hiring choices, Mr Sessions might very well be the next to exit.Although the Attorney General is seen as a man who shares Trump’s vision for immigration policy and law and order, and his nomination was met with much fear by anti-Trumps, that has not stopped the president from launching a blistering attack against the political veteran over not doing enough to investigate the alleged “crimes” by Hillary Clinton and those who have leaked information to the media.Trump also refused to rule out firing the former Senator. Bad blood was already brewing between the duo in recent days with reports emanating of Jeff’s anger at Trump’s public announcement last week that he would never have appointed Jeff in hindsight. The Attorney General had recused himself from the FBI’s investigation into Russian interference in the presidential election. It had emerged that Mr Sessions had had contact with the Russian ambassador which he’d failed to disclose under oath in his confirmation hearing.Photo Credit: Getty
