Deontay Wilder Promises To Knockout Luis Ortiz And Tyson Fury, Then Face The Winner Of Anthony Joshua Vs. Andy Ruiz Jr

Deontay Wilder has vowed to beat Luis Ortiz and Tyson Fury in rematches before setting up an undisputed title clash.

WBC king Wilder, 34, defends his title on Saturday against Cuban southpaw Ortiz, but is already pencilled in to then face Fury for a second time, set for February 22.

Sandwiched in between the two rematches, unified champion Andy Ruiz Jr defends his belts against Anthony Joshua on December 7. And The Bronze Bomber wants to face the winner of the Saudi Arabia clash, setting up an undisputed title fight.

Wilder said:

“After this fight, I’m looking forward to the rematch with Fury. Then after I knock Fury out I’m looking forward to the winner of Joshua – Ruiz.”

Wilder and Joshua circled each other for almost two years before the Brit star was stunned on his US debut against Ruiz, losing by seventh round stoppage. The underdog champion shares the same PBC promotional stable as Wilder.
